I suppose this is long overdue. Sometimes we are pushed into creative spaces we’ve been avoiding to truly flourish.
I’ve never seen myself as a blog host, not much of a writer either, but one thing I do enjoy is the art of story telling and expression in fashion. I can try and make that colorful through words and I will try and do my best. I consider myself a creative. Fashion styling seems to be where I flourish, and I have picked up other things along the way.
At a very young age I took up many artistic endeavors. Most of them fleeting, until it came to ballet and piano. These were my outlets. I loved how through music I could touch on feelings just through a cadence, and through dance I could tell a story. Sometime in high-school I picked up on wanting to express myself through clothing. Eventually dabbling into styling people in college, and starting my online styling business in 2020. From there Empty - Spaces was born. I began to use it as a platform to promote my styling services, but knew the vision for it was so much more.
Empty - Spaces is bigger than me. It’s a place for creatives to come together and grow in their craft. It grew out of my love for creativity and my love for people. It is also a mission: to bring creatives together and create things bigger than themself. To impact this world in whatever positive way we can. I envision to give hope to all the creatives out there, that their work is valuable and they can do it.
You can expect more highlights of the hidden gems in central Arkansas, along with fashion trends being brought front and center monthly. We will talk about roadblocks when it comes to being a creative, the highs and the lows, and get into the nitty gritty of being in the creative field. 2024 will be the start of something new. We will step into new things and not be afraid to take up space. I am excited to bring you along this journey, of creating something out of nothing, where Empty - Spaces was birthed to what it grows into.
